"We are very happy with our custom cabinets from Unity Woodworks. We needed cabinets for our kitchen and butler's pantry on our new home. Matt listened to our needs and worked with us to customize many different components of the cabinets. Some of the customizations include a custom-built hood for an insert, wine racks, a double trash can drawer, a fully custom to spec pots/pan drawer with a lid drawer inside. Last year I worked with Matt at Unity Woodworks. I explained to Matt what I wanted to accomplish with my kitchen, which included replacing the current cabinets, adding a piece over the refrigerator l as an island. We doubled my cabinet space. My husband Mike and I were extremely satisfied with Unity Woodworks customer service from day 1. We met Matt at the 2020 Cincinnati Home and Garden Show. We chatted a bit about Unity Woodworks product, looked at the items they had on display, collected a brochure and were on our way. Some months later, we began to design our kitchen. I'd been collecting inspirational photos and finishes to draw upon during this phase. I shared them with Matt, and we discussed the vision for our custom kitchen. There was some back and forth tweaking the design. Matt brought his professionalism and knowledge to the table each time. His recommendations on wood species, door style, cabinet size, height variation, and pantry options were what won us over. Unity Woodworks was building us a CUSTOM kitchen, not a kitchen customized with "stock" cabinets. Mike and I visited Unity Woodworks to better understand the custom cabinet process and see some of our cabinets firsthand. It was an amazing experience to see the craftsmanship and quality that were built into each piece. Some would say we spent a lot on our cabinets. I would say, the value far outweighed the cost. And more importantly, we've developed a new friendship along the way. We have recommended Unity Woodworks to family and friends and will continue to do so.
